Telugu girl Anjali was a busy starlet in Kollywood couple of years ago. But all of a sudden actress left the industry and concentrated on Telugu films. She was seen in films such as SVSC, Masala etc. Anjali’s aunt Bharathi Devi and director Mu Kalanjiam created troubles for her which led to keeping away from limelight for some time. Finally, the homely voluptuous beauty is making a comeback in Tamil cinema with an untitled film starring Jayam Ravi and to be directed by Suraaj.
There were reports that Anjali got married to a Telugu producer when she has hidden for a week days after a clash with her aunt. Clarifying on these marriage rumors Anjali stated, “I am not married and even I am not under custody of someone. I don’t want to speak on Kalanjiam issue as the case is in court. However, I clarify that I will decide on his film only after final verdict from court. Meanwhile, I accepted Jayam Ravi’s film as I liked Suraaj’s script.”
