Mega hero Varun Tej is the new entry into star list of Tollywood and he is throwing a loud challenge to Nandamuri camp. We reliably learnt that, Varun Tej is interested to act in Telugu remake of Kannada super hit action film Ugramm directed by Prashanth Neel.
Varun Tej is yearning for mass image like Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan and Ram Charan, Allu Arjun. Hence, he is determineed to do a film like Ugramm which can project him as a energetic mass hero. Ugramm was not just a super hit movie in Kannada, it made a simple hero Srimurali become a superstar. Varun Tej is eager to play such powerful role and if everything goes well, it would be a life turner like Simhadri for Jr NTR and Magadheera for Ram Charan.
Curiously, Jr NTR was assumed to act in Ugramm remake. But, he refused it owing to other commitments. Fact is Varun Tej also fits well for the role because of his 6+ feet height and manly physique. He selected a soft romantic film ‘Gollabhama’ for only safe debut reasons while his ambition is to settle as a mass action hero.
